1. How I Got Here and Our Story Behind Yuki Skin

Hello! I’m Meriem Benazza, a French Canadian originally from Algeria, who moved to Montreal at the age of 8. My journey into skincare began with the challenge of finding authentic Korean skincare products in Canada. The scarcity of these sought-after products only fueled my passion for K-beauty. Over the past four years, my interest has deepened significantly, especially after meeting my husband, who studied Software Engineering in South Korea. Through him, I was introduced to the vibrant Korean culture and its remarkable skincare practices.

My personal experience with Korean skincare has been transformative. Having struggled with issues like acne, dryness and hyperpigmentation, I found that K-beauty products offered unparalleled benefits. This led me to create Yuki Skin, with the aim of sharing these incredible products with others who face similar skin challenges.

With a strong background in finance and economics from Concordia University, I spent years working in hedge funds across Quebec and Ontario. Now, I’m channeling my expertise and passion into Yuki Skin to offer the finest Korean skincare products to Canadians from coast to coast.
